Product development

Build the foundation. Earn the next step.

CGC develops its product direction incrementally, with clear distinctions between current foundations, planned capabilities and long-term ambitions.

Our development principle

Every new capability should strengthen the journey.

A connected gaming ecosystem is built through useful capabilities that work together. CGP's development direction begins with identity and trust, then expands toward careers, discovery, competition and specialized intelligence.

These stages guide development without fixed release dates. Their scope and timing depend on supported integrations, product feedback and the needs of players and organizers.

From a trusted account to a connected ecosystem.

The foundation supports the experiences that follow. Later stages depend on relevant data, clear product requirements and the ability to deliver useful, trustworthy tools.

  1. Current foundations

    01 · Foundation

Shared account services, sign-in, sessions, basic profiles, foundations for linking game accounts, and Desktop username and password recovery are present in the alpha. Account-security features continue to develop alongside them.

  2. Planned

    02 · Professional profile

Bring gaming identity, supported game information and credible career history into a more complete professional presence. Distinguish verified records from information supplied by the user.

  3. Planned

    03 · Discovery

Connect talent with teams, organizations and relevant opportunities. Useful criteria and clear availability should make discovery more focused for both candidates and recruiters.

  4. Planned

    04 · Competition

Connect registrations, rosters, eligibility, schedules, officials and results. The direction is an operating environment for competition, with rules and evidence that participants can understand.

  5. Long-term vision

    05 · Live tools

Explore independent Referee, Coach and Analyst interfaces for supported competitive contexts. Each role needs appropriate permissions and a clear boundary around permitted live activity.

  6. Long-term vision

    06 · Intelligence

Develop AI-assisted player analysis, scouting, team insights and preparation using structured, authorized information. Explanations and human oversight are part of the intended experience.

  7. Long-term vision

    07 · Integrity and standards

Explore eligibility, verification, competitive integrity and international infrastructure. Contributing to stronger standards remains an ambition, without assuming official governing authority.

From today's foundations to future possibilities.

Current foundations describe work implemented in the development environment; they do not announce public availability. Planned capabilities need further implementation, while long-term ambitions require additional validation and resources.

  • Current foundations

    Current

Foundations present in the development platform. Their existence does not announce public availability, a completed product or support for every game and client.

  • Planned

    Planned

Intended product capabilities with a defined place in the vision. Their scope and timing still depend on requirements, feedback, supported integrations and development priorities.

  • Long-term vision

    Long-term vision

Ambitious directions that require further validation, suitable data, permissions and operational capacity. They are possibilities to develop, rather than promised releases.

Progress has to respect the game.

Competitive tools should help people prepare, administer and understand competition while preserving fair play. Their value depends on operating within the rules of each game and event.

  • Permitted connections

Use official APIs, approved integrations and authorized data. Supported capabilities depend on the permissions and restrictions of each publisher or platform.

  • Independent companion tools

Do not inject into games, modify memory or game files, bypass anti-cheat or automate prohibited gameplay. Future companion interfaces should operate through external, permitted services.

  • Competitive role boundaries

Referee, coach and analyst tools must respect their assigned responsibilities. Live coaching restrictions and tournament rules remain binding on any proposed feature.

  • Human authority over serious decisions

AI may organize evidence, surface patterns and support preparation. Recruitment judgments, serious disciplinary decisions and other consequential actions need appropriate human oversight.

Let evidence shape the experience.

Useful development starts with understanding the problem a capability solves. A career feature needs credible context; a discovery tool needs relevant criteria; an analysis feature needs legitimate data and understandable limits. Feedback from the people doing that work should help refine the product before its scope grows.

A wider horizon, without a premature promise.

CGC's future may include additional competitive technologies, developer or publisher tools, videogame development and publishing. An original CGC game remains a long-term possibility if commercially viable. New product lines should have their own purpose and realistic foundation, rather than expanding the platform simply to add more features.
