Our principal platform
A gaming identity with a future.
CGP is a platform in development connecting professional gaming identity, careers, talent discovery, teams and competitive operations.
On this pageThe product question
Why should a gaming career depend on disconnected platforms?
CGP — Core Gaming Platform — is the principal digital platform being developed by Core Gaming Corporation. Its direction is to connect a player's identity with the people, opportunities and competitive experiences that can shape a serious gaming career.
A profile, a team search, a tournament and an analysis tool should contribute to the same journey. CGP aims to bring that context together across shared Web, Desktop and future services. The foundations are in development; the broader capabilities below are planned or long-term ambitions.
One identity across the platform.
The current alpha includes shared account services, sign-in, sessions, basic gaming profiles, foundations for linking game accounts, and Desktop username and password recovery. These foundations are present in the development platform; they do not represent a public release.
Current foundations
Shared account foundations
Identity and authentication are designed around shared platform services so CGP clients can recognize the same account. Future mobile, tournament and companion experiences should build on that identity.
Current foundations
Profiles and account recovery
Basic profiles and Desktop username and password recovery are implemented in the alpha. Password recovery checks access to a verified email address and, when applicable, requires additional recovery verification. Further account-security features remain in development.
Current foundations
Provider-linking foundations
Provider-linking work establishes a basis for supported game and platform connections. Linking an account does not mean every statistic, publisher or future feature is supported.
Turn competitive experience into opportunity.
A professional gaming profile should carry more context than a rank or a single match result. The goal is a credible career record that helps people present their experience and discover opportunities suited to their circumstances.
Planned
A portable gaming career
Connect supported game accounts, roles, ranks, statistics, achievements and competitive history. Include teams, previous experience, coaching or management work, languages, region and availability where appropriate.
Planned
Evidence with context
Make verified records distinguishable from self-reported information. Team history, tournament results and relevant credentials should help others understand what a person has done and where their experience fits.
Planned
Talent discovery
Help players find teams, organizations, communities and tournaments. Help recruiters search by relevant criteria, review careers and track prospects rather than relying on disconnected messages and screenshots.
Planned
Professional roles beyond players
Coaches, analysts, managers and scouts should be able to present relevant experience and discover suitable opportunities. A competitive ecosystem depends on more than the active roster.
Give teams a structure they can grow with.
Team and organization tools are intended to connect people, responsibilities and competitive history. Clear ownership and permissions should help a roster operate consistently as members, staff and ambitions change.
Planned
People and permissions
Manage owners, captains, players, substitutes, coaches, managers and analysts through role-based, auditable permissions. Invitations and responsibilities should remain understandable to the people involved.
Planned
Recruitment and roster continuity
Support recruitment, tryouts, availability, roster history and relevant competitive eligibility. Preserve the context of team changes so an organization can build beyond one season.
Planned
An organized competitive presence
Bring together team branding, organization pages, schedules, competitive records and supported statistics. Players and staff should see how their contributions fit the wider team.
A tournament is more than a bracket.
CGP's tournament direction covers the work before, during and after competition: rules, eligibility, registration, rosters, matches, officials, results and the record that remains when an event ends.
Planned
Create and prepare
Define rules and entry requirements, review registrations and configure players or teams. Potential formats include elimination, round robin, Swiss, leagues, groups and playoffs, subject to validated requirements.
Planned
Run the competition
Manage brackets, schedules, matches, standings and assigned officials. Record results and publish information that helps participants understand where they stand and what happens next.
Planned
Handle disputes with evidence
Maintain incident records, evidence and competition history. Dispute handling and competitive penalties should follow explicit rules and authorized human decisions.
Planned
Sustainable tournament services
Explore organizer subscriptions, hosting services, premium tools and sponsorship support. Entry fees or prize-related operations would require appropriate legal and operational approval; no tournament economy is being announced.
Tools for the people behind competitive play.
Future independent companion interfaces could support authorized officials and team staff alongside supported games. They must use permitted APIs, telemetry or tournament services without injecting into games, altering game memory or bypassing anti-cheat.
Long-term vision
Referee Mode
Bring assigned matches, eligibility, rosters, rules, incidents, pauses, technical issues and result verification into an official's working view. Help prepare clear match reports without interfering with gameplay.
Long-term vision
Coach Mode
Support preparation, roster review, tactical notes, practice planning and player development. Live functions must respect publisher and tournament rules, including restrictions on coaching during a match.
Long-term vision
Analyst Mode
Connect match history, role and map performance, opponent trends, scouting reports and competitive comparisons. Give analysts a place to turn authorized data into useful preparation.
Intelligence that explains its evidence.
CGP's AI ambition is a specialized layer built around structured platform information and authorized game data. It should help people interpret context, prepare decisions and organize work, with analysis clearly separated from verified statistics.
Long-term vision
Player and team analysis
Explore performance trends, consistency, role balance, roster gaps and development priorities. Findings should identify their evidence and limitations, without inventing unavailable game data.
Long-term vision
Assisted scouting
Generate relevant shortlists and player comparisons using permitted criteria such as roles, experience, language, region and availability. Explain compatibility signals while leaving recruitment decisions with people.
Long-term vision
Preparation and tactical visualization
Help organize reviews, training priorities and opponent reports. A later strategy workspace could translate tactical ideas into editable map plans using authorized maps and assets.
Long-term vision
Operations and integrity support
Assist support, moderation, scheduling and tournament documentation. Summarize incident evidence or unusual patterns for human review; AI must not independently issue serious disciplinary sanctions.
Connected services need clear boundaries.
The long-term platform spans clients, communities and providers. Its value depends on understanding where information comes from, which connections are permitted and who has authority to act.
Authorized integrations
Evaluate official publisher and platform integrations individually, with clear supported data, restrictions and freshness. The vision depends on available permissions and APIs, never unauthorized scraping or private endpoints.
Shared clients, distinct purposes
CGP Web, Desktop and future mobile services should share identity and platform services. The CGC corporate website explains the company; gamer registration and account management belong in CGP.
Long-term vision
Integrity without assumed authority
Long-term standards, eligibility and verification systems may contribute to stronger esports infrastructure. CGC and CGP do not currently hold international governing authority.
